Publicity and Costs

Please take every opportunity you can to invite and bring your friends and

acquaintances to our Music Shoalhaven Concerts.

We try very hard to keep our costs down so that people can come and

enjoy gorgeous classical music on a regular basis here in the Shoalhaven.

We have an amazing venue, with spectacular acoustics in the Nowra

School of Arts, which is lauded by every concert artist who comes.

Costs of performers, venues and other sundry fees, however, have risen

quite dramatically. A couple of years ago we could cover each concert with

$1200 -$1500. Now we are having to find $2000 - $2500/$3000.

Presently we use word of mouth, emails, our website, Facebook, Radio

announcements, posters and handouts to let as many people as possible

know about the wonderful concerts we have.

Can you think of other ways we can get the message out to attract more

people to our concerts? Are you someone who could help take on this

challenge and help us continue to provide the high quality of performance

we have been blessed to enjoy?
