The Strelizia Trio concert on Sunday 8 April was very well received. There were many positive comments from audience members about the choice of music and the high standard of performance. The Trio expressed their enjoyment of the occasion and willingness to come back again despite the very hot and humid weather in Nowra that day. Perhaps next time they’ll come in winter!
On their Facebook page they wrote:
Our concert in Nowra for Music Shoalhaven this afternoon would have to be up there with the sweatiest ever...and that’s a fair achievement! With a welcome as warm as the weather we had a great time playing in such a beautiful part of the world for a wonderfully appreciative audience. Thanks for having us!”
The cellist, Eleanor Betts (left in the photo below), is expecting her baby any day now! We have sent her our very best wishes.
