Luke Bowen

Luke Bowen is a 17-year-old Shoalhaven-based musician. He holds an LMusA Diploma in Piano with Distinction and now studies under Professor Robert Constable. Luke recently completed a Diploma of Music at the University of New England. He has been awarded numerous piano prizes in both Shoalhaven and Wollongong Eisteddfods including the 2018 and 2019 Teen Piano Championship and the 2018 Nowra Rotary Club Music Scholarship. Luke makes regular appearances in the St. Jude’s Music Association (Bowral) mid-week recital program. He has performed Hausmusik concerts in Kangaroo Valley and played for Music Shoalhaven in 2019.  Luke is a violist with the Southern Highlands Symphony Orchestra and the Highlands based Roma Strings chamber ensemble. In 2019 he won a scholarship to the Royal School of Church Music Sydney inSpires festival where he received tuition from renowned British organist Anne Marsden Thomas. Luke is currently organist at All Saints Anglican Church in Nowra.
