The annual City of Shoalhaven Eisteddfod provides a wonderful opportunity to experience and support community talent. The instrumental and vocal performances are well worth attending and offer delightful entertainment at low cost. Visit their website for details of performances.


Enjoy an evening of fine food, wine and music with soprano Belinda Dalton and pianist Benjamin Burton at the historic Berry School of Arts. Grazing table supper provided by Salmon and Co Eatery and sommelier-selected wines.

Symphonic Epics


An adventure-packed concert, suitable for the whole family, that features epic music for the symphony orchestra. Works include Rimsky Korsakov's Scheherazade, Miklos Rosza's Ben Hur, Karl Jenkin's Adiemus, music from Indiana Jones by John Williams and more. The concert is compèred and conducted by IOP's Artistic Director Ryley Gillen.

Symphonic Epics will also premiere Kyle Eardley's The Trombone Ranger as a part of IOP's original Australian symphonic works program. This composition pays tribute to South Coast local Max Croot. Max was awarded the Order of Australia in 2014 for his love of music and fostering that love in the community. IOP will also announce their 2020 biannual ballet at this concert.

A wonderful local choral group, the Shoalhaven Lydian Singers perform a number of major concerts each year. Upcoming concerts include:

Behold, the King and Queen!

A performance featuring a variety of music written for Kings and Queens – for their weddings, coronations and celebrations. The concert includes music written about Kings and Queens, as well as songs composed by King Henry VIII, and the popular music band Queen. The music spans 4 centuries, including our own. It will be heroic, dramatic, melancholic, spherical and satirical!

Southland is an Australian international travelling acapella choir. It is made up of around 25 singers from Nowra in the south to Newcastle in the north and from Sydney to Camden and the Blue Mountains in the west.
